Salvation Army Bell Ringing​

The bell-ringing season starts in November and runs through Christmas Eve. Money raised during this Christmas campaign helps throughout the year. 90% of the funds collected stay in Marion County to provide emergency assistance to those in need.

Many of The Salvation Army programs operate only because of the time and donations we receive through the Red Kettle Campaign.

Salvation Army bell ringing funds are distributed throughout the year to those persons needing financial assistance with food, rent, utilities, etc. through our Neighbor Helping Neighbor Office.

You can help this year in two ways:

  1. There are signup sheets and schedules in the entry way of the church to share your gift of time for those in need this Christmas Season or you may contact Merna Furney at 641-842-3072 or Kitty Shepherd at 641-891-7590.
  2. Give generously. Every penny adds up!
